Living and Loving Where You Live

Growing up in the big city, my parents decided when I was in 7th grade to move to the country. The junior high I had been attending had over 2000 students, it was an impersonal and a quite rough. My parents decided rather than raise their children in that environment they would move to the country and raise us with cows and horses. This was great for me and my brothers but the commute for my Dad was terrible. He drove over an hour each way to work, to get us out of the city. As a child, I just took his commute for granted and not until I became and adult with children of my own, did I fully appreciate the sacrifice he made for us.
