Gulf coast real estate
Real estate news for the Baldwin County using data from Metro Market Trends is a mixture of good news and bad news. Let’s start with the gulf coast real estate commercial real. The good news is that the number of transactions rose just under 11%. The bad news is that the dollar volume was only increased by 3%. Translation, you have to make another bid to maintain the same volume. Sales of condominiums in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach backed up nearly 3% in the number of units sold, but the market fell about 2% in total dollar volume. In 2010 there were 133 new units sold and in 2011 there are 106 new units sold. The new units being sold are in the range of higher prices last year. Some very nice condo is no longer on the market and many buyers got deals circulating for a condo in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores.
